WaterWatch developed a number of tools that are of great assistance in our projects. Most of our work is based on satellite data, and for this reason we are listing the (for WaterWatch) most important satellite sensors. Important parameters obtained from satellite imagery are the surface temperature, albedo, and vegetation index.

To obtain information from satellite data, complex algorithms were developed. ETLook and SEBAL are sophisticated algorithms that calculate actual evapotranspiration and biomass production.  MeteoLook calculates the regional distribution of measured meteorological variables, which is an important input to both ETLook and SEBAL. ZoomLook is a downscaling tool that improves the spatial and temporal resolution of SEBAL and ETLook outputs.

GroundBuck is a ground water model that easily allows modelling of ground water conditions and gives management options in watersheds where data is scarce. Most information is therefore retrieved from earth observation.

WaterAccounting.com is a website dedicated to the analytical water accounting framework developed during a symposium in Delft.
