A consortium of Grontmij Consulting Engineers, the International Institute for Land Reclamation and Improvement (ILRI), WaterWatch and Kentkur investigated the opportunities for irrigation in the South-eastern Anatolian region of Turkey and performed a feasibility study for an irrigation development project. WaterWach researched the current irrigation practices in the region using remote sensing tools and conducted a water balance analysis for feasibility of an irrigation scheme.
