ZoomLook

In many areas, sufficient low spatial resolution imagery can be acquired, while it is difficult to obtain sufficient high spatial resolution images due to persistent cloud cover. Low resolution images show the temporal variation very well, but are not suitable for field analysis. High resolution images have the high spatial detail needed for farm/field level, but do not show the variation during the season. The challenge is to combine the features of both high and low resolution imagery.

ZoomLook improves the temporal and spatial resolution of SEBAL outputs by combining these features. ZoomLook downscales SEBAL outputs of low spatial resolution using the high resolution features of the high resolution imagery. The result is a timeseries of high spatial resolution images of actual evapotranspiration and biomass production.
