Lucie Leclert and Sander Zwart of WaterWatch recently published a paper on irrigation system performance in Irrigation Science. Irrigation Science is one of the leading journals on irrigation sciences, and the paper is now freely available online

The paper is based on their work for the Office du Niger in Mali. Four indicators were used (cropping intensity, water productivity, uniformity, heat-tail enders issues) to assess the performance of the system spatially.
