The WaterWatch spinoff SEBAL NA recently gained news attention with the real-time tracking of water consumption by crops, cities and natural ecosystems in California's Central Valley using satellite data. In close collaboration with WaterWatch staff the SEBAL algorithm is used to calculate the water consumption on a weekly basis.
